1. Cognet lab is currently working on a HEC funded project titled, "Efficient routing of multimedia data in multi-radio dynamic spectrum access networks".

In this project, we aim to evaluate the potential improvement in performance  by using multiple cognitive radios on a device. We will also study various routing and channel assignment issues that arise for such networks in which every network node is equipped with multiple cognitive radio interfaces.

We have currently an open funded position for a PhD student who will work on this project. Please note that to take up this position, you need to be a PhD student at NUST. Please send an email to Cognet's lab director if you are interested in availing this opportunity.
